Hi guys!

Omg its been forever since I've been here! about two years if I'm correct.

Me and Fatty opened a thread back on the MB in January of this year hoping you guys would come by and say hi. I think I kept checking everyday for two weeks and then I forgot I had opened that post until today. I've never forgotten you guys and I would like to keep in touch with you again.

I've been MIA for so long because I finally transferred to University (I was attending community college at the time) and I was taking 4 classes every semester, so basically I didn't even have time to breathe. Anyway, I graduated this summer with honors and I received  a BA in psychology!  About a week ago I got hired to give therapy to kids with autism, and this week I started training. I guess you can say things are going well! While my plan is to go back to school right away, I also think its important that I get a little bit of experience outside from school so that I know for sure what branch of psychology I want to pursue in graduate school. Currently I'm interested in social psychology, clinical psychology, and multicultural psychology. I will be exploring the clinical psychology field in my new job. I've also decided that if I get the GRE score to get into a PHD program this fall, I might decide to go into a PHD program instead of a Masters program. I'm also part of a laboratory in the university I graduated from. Its a multicultural lab and we study minority groups and the development of their children; biculturalism, bilingualism, and their effects on mental health. Its all interesting and if I end up choosing social psychology or multicultural psychology I plan to focus on the LGBT community. So its all super exciting! :D

So basically after we made the thread on the MB I have not been able to post there! it wont let me

Goffigor, I read your reply on the MB. OMG you went to see HIPS in July?!?!? how freaking awesome is that?!!! I cant wait to hear all about it you guYS!!

Anyway, I'm hoping you guys check back in here so we can catch up and do a "where are they now" special LOL!!

JUST TO SAY HELLO

Hi there fellow peeps. I started a new thread, as you can see, for the following reason:
There are sooooooo many threads on this blog created by our dear Harlem that one never knows where to go to visit and just stay in touch. It is time consuming to check each and every one to see if someone has popped in to say hello, and surely as busy as most of you are with work, school and life, I thought we could use this thread for that purpose and that purpose only. There are many other threads started by all of us where we can post and/or share pictures, sightings of LW cast members, TLW news, etc. Of course this is a new year and all of us will be celebrating another birthday, so anyone wishing to start a new blog for those birthday wishes would be an exception. So I hope to see you all here, HIPS, HARLEM, LOST, GIA, DALI & FATTY soon and often.

Decided to blog

hi there girls!

its been ages since ive been here and I decided it was time to undust the blog and write a new post to see what good would come out of this =)

Ive been on the MB but everytime I visit and im about to comment I get distracted by something and I never post! it almost feels like a curse now =P anyway... Im not sure what I wanted to write about in this post so....

Im sick with a cold at the moment and I should really be doing HW but im not.... obviously... I have soo much HW to do, well, to read.... I have to read Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, I have to read Zizek and I have to study for my Geography test. on top of that I have to apply to the school Im gonna be attending next fall, Im really excited about that actually =D all my hard work is finally gonna pay off with a BA in psychology =D well I guess my journey wont end there because I wanna get a masters in psychology =)

This semester in my english class we've been reading Marx, Zizek, Hegel, and Freud. The material has been challanging at times but very rewarding in the end. Freud of course being my favorite to read =) I just love psychology and Im very passionate about it. Im very happy to have found the right career that will keep me drawn in 100%. I guess my extremely good grades on my essays for english class have to do with the fact that I'm actually loving the topics we're writing about. Im really loving my english class this semester =)

As far as my editing goes, the novela/tv show Las Aparicio ended about 1.5 weeks ago and although Im not subbing anymore Ive continue to edit fan vids. The latest one is about Las Aparicio girls (ill post a link to it at the end of this) and Im currently working on a skins one =D not only on naomi and emily but the whole gang. it will be my first none story telling vid, this vid is gonna be about being artistic, creative, and moving away from my current mold =P soo im really excited about that.

so I guess what Im really hoping that will come out of this is.... you guys engaging in this blog again =) I kept on reading on the MB that the blog is still active but.... I dont see any new posts?

anyway thank you for taking the time to read this long ass post and hopefully ill see your replies soon =)
